Many things were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of these is the World Expo 2020, which was, as the name suggests, scheduled to take place in the year 2020. However, when the Expo was finally inaugurated in October 2021, everyone acknowledged that it was well worth the wait of a year. Today, the Dubai Expo has come to be known as one of the best expos in the history of the World Expos. Unfortunately, the spectacle is about to end next month. In this article, we will be trying to convince you why it is well worth it to travel to Dubai to see the different pavilions at the Expo. Unfortunately, for the interests of this article not being too long, we are not going to be able to detail all the pavilions we were impressed by. It is up to you to research more on the rest of the pavilions. In fact, many of these sites have YouTube videos made on them that you can watch from any place in the world, including your home in the United States of America. If you have quality internet of the likes of Xfinity internet, you can easily watch these snippets to get a taste of what is happening thousands of miles away from you from the comfort of your home.

Moroccan Pavilion

The Moroccan Pavilion’s great repute at Expo 2020 came as a big surprise to many. Many wonder how a developing country came up with such an amazing design. The pavilion is an Earthen building with six stories. It gives you a very different vibe than anything you would have experienced in the United States of America. The highlight of the Morrocan pavilion was the room where the Moroccan lamp is placed. The lamp is structured in such a way that it casts eye-catching shadows on the surrounding walls. The room serves as a great photo opportunity so if you want a new profile picture, booking your trip might be the way to go!

Korean Pavilion

Are you a fan of digitally guided tours? If you are, you will love the Korean Pavilion. We say this with confidence knowing that not only us but almost all the rest of the tourists termed the Korean Pavilion as one of their first choices. The digitally guided tour shows you the greatest of what Korea has to offer as well as the finest of the other pavilions nearby. We wish we could do justice with our words but quite simply stated, we cannot. However, the good news is that we can watch all the displays at the Korean Pavilion on the internet.

Luxembourg Pavilion

What if we told you that one of the smallest countries on Planet Earth managed to come up with one of the best pavilions of Expo 2020? Yes, that is right! The Luxembourg Pavilion had it all: the modernity, the majesty, and the merry. While the curved structure amazes people of all ages at first glance, the slide connecting two stories is probably the highlight of the entire Expo for kids. Another really impressive feature of the Luxembourg Pavilion was that all the steel and glass that the Burj Khalifa is made of came from Luxembourg. Now, who could have guessed that?!

More To See In Dubai

Here is the best part about an Expo happening in the city of Dubai: alongside, the Expo pavilions, there is so much more to see as Dubai has risen up to be a city of architectural marvels in the recent past. First up, there is the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. If you get a chance to get to the top of the Burj Khalifa, you should definitely take it as the views you get atop the 828-meter building constitute the experience of a lifetime. Another sight to see in Dubai is the recently opened Museum Of The Future. Although the Museum of the Future only opened last month, it has been talked about since last year because of its stunning exterior. Its exterior is shaped up to show Islamic verses in Arabic! As spectacular the exterior is, the interior is no underwhelming sight either. When it comes to religious sites, know that Dubai consists of one of the most beautiful mosques in the world – the marble-clad Shaikh Zayed mosque. In short, even outside of the Expo, there is a lot to see in Dubai.
